I would buy directly through Nutrafol. I just the Nutrafol Balance vitamins, not the serum. Going through their site you can meet (at no charge) with an ND who will help you decide.

Vitamins. Not the serum. Why not buy on Amazon? I do. Is it the price?

Rogaine (men's formula 5% not the women's 5% since the men's serum is more effective than the foam that the women's formula comes in) and Nutrafol.

That’s absurd. Older dogs definitely have thinner fur. “Normal” would be most women dying in childbirth or in the years shortly thereafter, not living well into menopause.

I have thinning hair due to significant weight loss combined with years of a blood thinner. My dermatologist and every other doctor has said Rogaine, so I'm trying it. I've seen some improvement but it's slow.

I take a multivitamin plus B12 and D, and extra Omega 3s. Those things are all good for me, anyway, so I'd be taking them regardless. But I figure they can't hurt with the hair loss.

My derm did tell me it's okay for women to use the stronger formula that is usually packaged for men.

It sucks. Sorry, OP. I sympathize.

Check your thyroid, iron and vitamin D levels. But it could just be hormonal. Did your female relatives also lose hair as they aged?

Hormone replacement therapy. I'm 56 and have been on HRT for 7 years, My hair is thick and shiny. HRT also helps with your skin, and maintaining your weight.

Talk to your GYN.

I’m 49 and in menopause. My hair is getting very thin and looks awful. I take biotin, collagen, eat well, etc… Is there anything else I can do? Hair styling products only help so much. Thanks.
