Normandie Farms is another decent option. And they have mac and cheese available!

OP here….Thanks everyone for your feedback! I’m going to look into the new places, but unfortunately Fresh Market is a no go because they don’t have Mac n Cheese (my kids will only eat this dish).

Really? Like one of the worst restaurants in the DC area? Panned almost universally? This should never come up pretty much anywhere as a rec, it's that terrible.

I like the one in Rockville/North Bethesda. It does great business. It has 4.5 stars on Open Table. It is a good recommendation, and certainly belongs in the mix if Fresh Market is.

Sure, Tom Seitsma gave a scathing review of the DC location many years ago. But that isn't "universal panning."

We like it too but last time we got take out they added a "packaging fee" which bothered me. Yes there are some extra supplies but I am not using a table and dishes etc. If they raised prices for everyone I would understand, but why just a fee for take out??

I wonder if they did it because people aren’t tipping on takeout, with packaging referring to labor, not just supplies.

Depending on the fee, I much prefer a packaging fee vs. being put on the spot to tip on takeout.

This year we’re canceling Thanksgiving again (more than just pandemic reasons) so it’s just the kids and me. I don’t feel like cooking for just the three of us so I’m looking for a local restaurant in the Rockville area that’s offering a delicious Thanksgiving dinner takeout. Any suggestions?
