Huh? There are many kids who get air at the private schools. they don't have $80k/year for private college.

Does this mean that notifications have been made? Is this rolling?

it is merit money, easy target to go to a fun school with lots of school spirit without the stigma of being at a place like alabama.

They do give good merit. My DD got in with 7500 merit last year so that brought it down closer to high 30k/40K. It's entirely scores based and this was the middle level.

I wasn’t aware that students are clamoring to attend Clemson. Is this a new thing?

They give a lot of merit for honors college I believe

They do give merit. And are they actually going or just admitted. Most seniors are making a final decision right now.

I was shocked to see this only because I’ve looked at it for my kid, and it’s very expensive out of state. We will not qualify for financial aid. So they give a lot of merit aid for OOS or are people paying full price?
