It really is. USYS finalist, USYS region 2 finalist, 3 MLSNext teams, an ECNL team, MD state cup finalist. That's a good mix.

This is false. Both are probably wrongly seeded. We shall see. Seedings are not results, just like college admissions are not successes. BRYC is a tad below average among the area ECNL clubs in that age group but they will get better over time. And most people would say the same thing about Arlington, VDA, Loudoun and VA Union in that age group (not second or third teams for top clubs, but not nearly on the same level as Bethesda, Pipeline, Richmond United, Achilles or SYC).

Best of luck to all- MPSSA State finals are Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday so possibly some teams without players on certain days.

YES! No rain. A little chilly, but not too bad. We lucked out in that department. I just hope it holds.

I see some MLS teams in there. Will be interesting to see how they do and how ECNL and other league teams do against them.

Because USofA has had girls as the best soccer team in the world. Now that it will no longer be the case I expect the parents to relax and assume their girl will not make a living out of soccer. Meanwhile, boys will always have that option.

I’m slightly irritated that my son’s team is in the second group while teams we beat or tied in league play are in the top group.

On the plus side, I’m apparently in a tiny minority of people who enjoy games at Muldoon’s fields. Brings back many memories for our family, and I love the drive out there to farm country. I’m glad the weekend weather looks decent.
