Notice the difference in ranges doesn't appear to make sense. That is because the Common Data Set shows data for enrolled students for the class of 2024, whereas the ranges you found on the school's website are for admitted students in the class of 2025. Schools like to post admitted student data because it is higher than data for enrolled students, so they seem more selective. Second, also notice that class of 2025 was test optional, so score ranges will skew dramatically higher than in past years, quite inaccurate for trying to determine whether to submit.
Go back to the school's Common Data Set, where you found the composite range, and look at the section score ranges there. I bet your kid's scores are smack in the middle and/or somewhat toward the higher side.
I forgot to add, the Common Data Set 2020-21 is class of 2024, i.e., not test optional.
