Those looking at APS Naviance, the GPAs you see for applicants are based upon end of senior year. So, don't get discouraged if you see GPAs that aren't mathematically possible for a junior.

FYI, I have never been able to do a calculation that matches up to what is in Naviance--I get pretty close, but there must be something they are weighting or adding or dropping that I can't figure out. (I tried to do it myself to see what effect dropping middle school grades--pandemic/virtual era--would have. I could at least tell mathematically what difference it would make with them in and out even though my "in" number didn't match what Naviance showed.)

Yes, my 11th graders GPA is there, but so far Naviance is not very helpful since we don't have an test scores.

OK, thanks. We haven't used Naviance yet. I guess it's time.

I have a junior in HS and we are trying to calculate her GPA. I can't find it anywhere in StudentVue (or ParentVue) (this is Arlington -- APSVA). Am I missing it or are we expected to calculate it by hand? We are trying to get a sense of what colleges might be a good fit. Thanks!
