It’s like Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring...just paying back political contributions. Road has been under construction with each new administration.

I missed van mess and Cleveland park. So it goes under Wisconsin and the Connecticut and them mass. Back the day, the tell tale sign that is was metro work was that during rush hour the big holes were covered with big metal sheets that the cars drove on.

Wait. Where is the work being done? The metro absolutely does run under mass and OP didn’t say where. But I don’t know for sure if it runs under mass near the observatory. It would make sense but I am not sure. Redline stops in Tenney town and then I think the next stop is DuPont.

why is road work is going on up and down Mass Ave in the same area for months? They fix one pry move to another and then come back to the previously fixed part and tear it all up again. What gives. What a mess. And seems like a big waste.
