My son loves to make comics, so I got books of comic blanks and markers and tied them together for the favor. They were a big hit!

Baked goods - like a cupcake or a custom cookie.
Pop-it (one of the large sizes)
Pen and notebook (in cute patterns, obviously)

As a kid, I remember getting ice cream certificates to McDonalds. They were the best favors.

OP again. I love the ice cream shop idea. Maybe I’ll call a local place and see if we can print out a paper certificate to hand out.

OP here and I agree with you. I hate this crap.

For a precovid party I gave my kind of favor: paperback of Owl At Home and a headband with felt animal ears. Two things. Actually close to useful. At this point, though, the kids will whine to get nothing and I don’t my kid to deal with this. It may be the age but I’ve seen it at other parties, the spoiled carping over a takeaway bag.

Gift cards are made of plastic, lol.

Alternatively, you could get each kid a jump rope or some kind of outdoor toy.

Or the book idea is good too. No toys.

A book. Those national geographic kids books with facts about different things (owls, cheetahs, etc) are nice.

We did light up balls from Target (which were a hit), ring pops and a small fidget toy. Another year, I gave out a small stuffed animal instead of goodie bags and kids liked that too.

Guys, please help! Both boys and girls are coming around the same age, it will be outdoors, there’s no theme since it’s at a park with a fun attached playground. I don’t know what to give- please help me out!
