OP here. This is so encouraging to hear. Could I ask if you had your DHEA or testosterone tested? My RE added these tests and found that I'm borderline low and I need to do 3 months of DHEA supplements before IVF.Anonymous wrote:I did an IVF cycle last January (at 35) with AMH of 5.5, FSH of 11, and AFC of 24. Just like you, good AMH/AFC and a borderline high FSH. My RE wasn't concerned about my FSH at all and I had good results from my retrieval, 17 retrieved, 12 fertilized, 6 blasts, 3 PGTA normal.

Not to be alarmist, just realistic. For example I have very low AMH (was 0.4 at 34 year old) but even now at 42 my FSH has never been over 9 and my AMH is undetectable. I am 26 weeks along with my second DD from IVF (own eggs, mini stim).
So personally depending on how high your FSH is - take it as a real red flag.
What age did you have your first? Also, for your current pregnancy what age did you retrieve your eggs?

Thank you for responding. My AFC results just came back and it's sky high. 44 follicles. I'm trying to get my follow up appt moved up asap because my RE told me it wasn't PCOS based on my hormone panel and lack of indicator (slender, normal A1C, no insulin intolerance) but clearly there is something strange going on here - either atypical PCOS or something I'm not thinking of.Anonymous wrote:I don't know about your case, but my AFC mattered more than my AMH when it came to my IVF cycle. Whatever is going on, your young age will likely be a big benefit to you. If your only problem is not ovulating that likely can be fixed with drugs.
