My son wears a CGM and insulin pump tubing/cannula. It hasn't been an issue so far.

Thanks, everyone!

We got it put in today and it is much smaller than the one DH had. It’s just stuck to his chest, in the middle. The refs will never know it’s there.

They wear trackers on the back of their neck in a halter so this should be fine.

NFHS says if it's padded and worn under uniform it should be fine. But I don't know if those guidelines are followed by local leagues that are not high school related.

DS is getting a cardiac holter put on tomorrow and might have it on for a week. Can he play soccer on Saturday with it on? I know girls can’t wear jewelry but this isn’t jewelry. We are especially interested in his heart when running and I don’t want him to miss his last game.

Neither girls nor boys (or anyone in between) can wear jewelry. Not just girls.

Ask your physician for a Zio patch instead. Much more wearable and equivalent in size to a continuous glucose monitor or insulin pump, which are permitted.

Agreed smaller would better. Also not sure they are going to give him something that would allow him to wear a large monitor while running. Good luck. Worst comes to worst he could delay wearing monitor?

My son wears an insulin pump playing sports. That said, they require him to take his medical alert bracelet off 😑
