Me too! What age do you think is appropriate?

This is op. Thanks, I'll check out those recommendations! It would be much easier to see galavant in Disney plus. It sounds great.

To all Galavant fans here -- If you have Disney+ (and even if you don't), PLEASE contact them and demand they stream Galavant. They own it but bizarrely will not stream it in the US and I have no idea if they ever plan to do so. The show was on ABC, which Disney owns, and Galavant was pulled off Netflix when Disney+ launched, so many fans assumed it would turn up on Disney+ and it has not. Yet Disney+ does stream it in other countries including Canada. It's indicative of how ABC/Disney never had any real idea what to do with this charming, funny show, where to put it in the broadcast schedule when it was on broadcast, and how to promote it, even now.

Maybe if they hear from fans that we know it's in their blasted "Disney vault" and want to stream it, they'll eventually do so. It's a shame and a waste of a lot of great performances and music. I'm the PP from above who just went ahead and got DVDs, but really, it's kind of insulting that the company that owns the show won't bother to toss it up for streaming. End of PSA.

I liked Galavant too

Another one with singing and dancing is Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist. My daughter and I enjoyed it.

So today, stuck sick in bed, I turn it on and see that it's leaving Netflix at the end of the month. Heads up to anyone who wants to binge watch it before it's gone.

(Also, I don't think it's just my fever, but Glee gets realllly weird. The Rachel TV show? Hurt locker? Freaky Sue robot on tricycle? What's up with that? Still I must go on.)

Anyone else discover or rediscover Glee years after it ended? Anyone else nostalgic for McKinley High? And what can I watch next to fill that campy musical void?

Aaaaa-mazing!

If you want a comedy musical with camp and a lot of modern references/fourth wall breaks, find "Galavant."

It's the musical love child of Monty Python and The Princess Bride. Faux fairy-tale-medieval musical comedy with all original songs that are very funny and musically very accomplished, too. Only 18 episodes total but the story gets completed and there are some great character development arcs, as well, not just 100 percent silliness. Though it's pretty damned silly too. If you don't warm up to it at first, give it time, it won't take long. Season two is even more fun than season one.

It is not on Netflix any more, but you can see it if you are willing to pay the pittance to stream it via Vudu (NO subscription fees, you just pay by the season or episode for stuff on Vudu; I use it a lot.). "Galavant" is also not on Amazon's regular package of streaming BUT you can also purchase seasons or episodes via Amazon to stream. I got DVDs when it left Netflix so I don't have to be at the mercy of streaming services. But I think it's worth the money, IMHO. If you were ever a Psych fan, by the way, one of the leads (the wicked king!) is none other than Tim Omundson, who played Lassiter, the uptight head detective on Psych. You likely won't recognize him if you only know him from Psych!

Yeah, and it's a sweet story about a bunch of misfits who come together. I think the first season was my favorite. Contrary to popular opinion, I liked their first year in NYC, too.

I never thought that. I watched the entire series. Loved it. It does get worse in the last few seasons.

Glee has been my pandemic pick-me-up. Throw on an episode when things are not going right. Sing along and everything just feels better.
