^ Some do, some don’t. Generally, limiting both is best when TTC, and I’m sure you’ve heard people say treat your body like it’s already pregnant. That’s what I did. So for me, that meant one small cup of coffee per day, no other caffeine, and no alcohol until the two week wait was over.

New poster here - I'm at SGF and my nurse didn't say anything about avoiding alcohol or caffeine. Have other clinics given this advice?

Unlike the stim neds they are not refrigerated. I put progesterone in the fridge and it started crystalizing but the pharmacy said it was fine to use after it reached room temp.

Estrogen can be a pill, a patch or an injection. I have done pills and patches and of the two I prefer the patch. The pills upset my stomach and they were 3x a day, which means forgetting for me. The patches are mildly annoying to peel off, it's like peeling off a sticky giant bandaid.

I chose the PIO (progesterone injections) because they are only once a day and it is the most bioavailable. I have heard of the vaginal progesterone gunking up, causing yeast infections and bleeding. I do the injections myself.

I didn’t do anything special besides estrogen pill, a baby aspirin and progesterone. No refrigeration needed. Good luck. It was super easy.

Estrogen is a pill, PIO does not need to be refrigerated.

Actually some people take estrogen in shot form, if they don't respond well to the pill. You would probably not do it for a first FET though.

I didn't do any of this but got pregnant 2/2 times.

For me it was: CD 3 start birth control for two weeks, followed by a baseline scan, then 2 weeks of estrogen pills, lining scan, if lining is thick enough start PIO for 5 days, then transfer. Either the time on birth control or the time on estrogen is a good time for a trip.

BTW the 2ww for the beta is a *great* time to go on a trip to distract yourself.

I go on estrogen for 10 days, do progesterone for 5 days then have the transfer. My lining cooperates but other women sometimes need more time on estrogen. Then two week wait for bHCG and about two weeks after that for the first ultrasound. If they find something weird you will need more ultrasounds. The timing of the progesterone commits you to the FET but I believe you can string out the estrogen for longer if you need to.

We are getting ready to do our transfer as soon as my period comes. I spoke with my doctor, but honestly, I forgot everything because we were focused on the egg retrieval. I am having a medicated transfer. Can anyone tell me the steps? Do you have to be in the area during the process? We have a couple trips planned but my doctor doesn't seem concerned with them interfering with the transfer. Any advice on how to prepare? I have been exercising and trying to eat and sleep well. I just stopped intermittent fasting. Anything else?
