Yep.
I was put on it by my doctor for weight loss. I worked with a nutritionist in the practice and got into actual ketosis and stayed there for over a year. A lot of the "I eat keto!" people don't actually eat keto. Basically, if it's a delicious vegetable, it's not keto-friendly. And the only fruit that was approved was raspberries and even then the serving size was 6.
I always had zero energy and the longer I was on it, the weaker I felt. I played soccer from the time I was 4 all the way through college. My legs were very strong and defined. I lost all of that on keto and now, after being off it for nearly 3 years, I still don't have the muscle tone back even after working with a proper trainer.
Doing keto is my biggest regret. I lost 45 pounds but put 20 of those back on immediately after stopping.
