That is Def Con 1 stomach ache on steroids. Adding gas to constipation, like my worst nightmare.
In fact, I'd never serve chickpeas or hummus to anyone with intestinal issues. Owee
I have no clue what you’re talking about. You can easily pass gas while constipated and not all people are effected by legumes.

Hit reset button on his diet.
1) Stop miralax
2) Stop the coconut. Water instead.
3) NO FIBER unless it's fruits and veggies - but zero banana. Gosh fiber will make it worse. Ask doc what happens if you take Metamucil crackers without water (it's not good)
4) Add a probiotic. Whole Foods sells chewable. Or do yogurts.
5) Add salad with dinner. Needs ruffage.
6) Edys Acai Blueberry Popsicles. Has gentle stool softening effect.
Fiber and “ruffage” (actually roughage) are the same thing. Look it up.
Not when you have gastrointestinal woes. And it's different fiber types. But what do I know, I've just been treated by multiple docs for IBS-D, gastroparesis, and SIBO.
