If you have room you could do a 3/4 swing out door. We tried a half glass and surprised how much water leaked out. Had to take it out.

I dunno. Can you actually add another panel after the half glass is in place?

PP here. I guess my point is it’s always possible to add but once the tiles are drilled for 2 panels there’s no going back to a half wall. Also worth mentioning that our setup has a fixed 8-8in section then a door that swivels open so it covers about 2/3 or 3/4 of the tub.

Can someone post a picture of this setup? I’m confused.

The water everywhere is a real issue. You can't move from the one spot behind the glass so if you put shampoo on the other side of the tub or move back to change the water temperature it will splash everywhere.

I hate these. The water, everywhere, yes. But in the winter I want to take a warm shower. Half glass makes that virtually impossible.

We're in the middle of a remodel of our small guest full bath - bathtub shower combo.
We're considering doing half glass only - we like the look. Here's my question: Does the water actually stay contained in the "enclosure" or does it end up splashing outside of the enclosure?

Not married to this look. Willing to do full glass if it's not functional to do half glass.

Thanks
