Why do you care? Seriously. I understand this is a concern when you’re on the dating market, but you’re married. Does your wife find you attractive? As long as that’s a yes, what does it matter if you’re generally seen as attractive?

I have spent exactly zero time thinking about whether I’m conventionally attractive since I got married. Who cares?

Well, if she is truly asexual then she won't be attracted to anyone but the only way to tell if it's him as the problem or her is if he can pull off an affair. But those are frowned upon by some

I often catch women looking at me, but I have to wonder if they caught me looking at them, or sometimes their cleavage

Women look at men who they find attractive, and vice versa. If you’re catching looks it’s a good sign.

As a soon-to-be-happily divorced 55 year old male, I an say this - of your are good looking, interesting to talk to, in reasonably good shape and confident, you are not going to have problems attracting women.

A wife who often initiates is a pretty good clue.

Fair or not, attractiveness is subjective. So either his wife shows him with her sexual interest or he finds it from women outside the marriage.

It's why they say cheating is often times about validation that men aren't getting in the marriage
