Yes, he does wake up on his own. And, no, we aren’t rushed at all. Since he’s the only one who has to be up and dressed and nanny is there to help, we have very leisurely mornings with plenty of time reminders (“we leave for school in five minutes”).
I just thought he’d love school and want to go.

Honestly? I think it is totally normal not to be excited. School for the most part isn't fun
