NP: I assume there maybe something in the pics that is making guys swipe. I think minimum info is best with a few great pics, certainly no pics of kids. Then they might read the profile.

Often wonder why people "think" they are pretty. If you're pretty (and at age 49 you're "old" for most people in the dating pool, you'd know it. But, are you forgetting you are almost 50???

Dating apps seem to be getting more hook up mentality men, even match, which use to be more relationship oriented.

I agree you need to ask a man about this and ask for brutal honesty.

might also be the app you are using. some cater more to certain ages or hook ups more than relationships

Yup. You need some honest and critical feedback. Dh told my friend that her profile made her seem intense and difficult. She softened it and got way more hits

I am 49, white, tall, thin, divorced with one kid and pretty with a good job, and the only hits I get are from guys in their 20s assuming I am easy. I am looking forward a LTR. Photos are good, mostly face shots with one full length fully clothed. Am I just too old?
