My senior in high school likes crew socks. His favorite is the Stance brand -- the more outrageous the design the better. He'll also wear Nike, Adidas, Active, and Vans brand socks. All worn with Vans shoes.

Crew. My teen boy wears Nikes or Adidas.

The style is crew. A lot of boys like the white Nike with a swoosh on the side.

What are those ones called that go up a bit high? Does it matter what shoes they wear with them? Can they wear that style with regular Nikes? The brand name of the socks?
