I, who actually know trans women who used to be sex workers, also freak out about this statistic. Also, I freak out about the number of women of all kinds who are sex workers and killed.
I think if you actually cared about WOMEN, you'd know that trans women aren't the ones being killed in swathes by their domestic partners. But you don't care about all women. Only the trans ones.
Thank you!! Black cis women and Native American women have sky-high murder and domestic violence rates, but all these trans activists care about is men self-identifying into women’s spaces getting. Tell me, trans activists, how does fighting for the right to fracture a woman’s skull in a boxing match under the guise of sports stop men from killing you?

At best I am bi, but I mean, mostly I am a straight woman who has had sex with women enough to know that I prefer men.
I am still filled with rage over this. This is so wrong. In the 90's people like ME were a lesbian bar's biggest problem.

Well yes there are very few bars now. And some safe spaces appropriated by transwomen, but I have not experienced anything to the degree this writer talks about.
I’m 42 and newly out of hetero marriage. I’ve had some luck with socials run by older women who aren’t super keen on the focus on transgender.
I have noticed in the younger groups that much of the focus is about gender now.
