All of my bloodwork is normal. No sign of an autoimmune disorder. The derm did offer to put me on spironolactone to stop the loss from progressing. She also mentioned PRP injections but they are expensive and supposedly painful. I’d love to hear from anyone who is tried either of these and had success with the type of thinning I have.
Stress is absolutely a factor. I had some thinning years ago during a stressful period of life but it came back. But now it feels like I am always shedding with no regrowth. I have stress levels typical of a working mom of two. Nothing crazy but I can’t realistically reduce my stress any further. Unless I start smoking pot or something, would that make me feel less stressed? Lol.
OP, you already have the answer to your own question. Are you hoping to hear something different from the DCuM crowd? There is nothing that will bring back a full head of hair that you may have in your youth. Aging is absolutely the biggest culprit along with stress/anxiety and bad nutrition.
Just try to live healthier, curb the stress, add exercise regiment and pay attention to mental health. Hair or no hair you just have to keep living your life and stop worrying about it.
