To make it even worst they sat next to the opposing team. It was the beginning of the second half and we were down 0-3. Out of no where we hear the coach from the other team screamed ‘ref I need you to get them off the field’ ( I can’t remember exactly what he said). Then another coach walked towards the family and said ‘ I heard what you said’.
Ref did go up to the family and they eventually left the field and we resumed the game. I am embarrassed of what happened. It is a poor representation of our team and the league.
If anyone from that team is reading this, I would like to apologize for her behavior. Please know not all the parents are like that.

managers doing it seems fairly normal. Their spouses and other children joining them isn't
Yeah I think its ok for the manager to be available pre and post game but never spouse or other children.
Except with the youngest kids who may need supervision, or if there's an injury, not sure why there's any need for a manager to be with the team during games.
I’ve been a TM for different age groups and completely agree. I never sit on the team side, unless I’m needed because of an injury. I help check in the team and then go to the parent side. There is no reason for the TM to be sitting with the the team or behind the team.
