We’ve done that and they went quickly.

Roll-ups/wraps from Costco or Wegmans have always been a big hit at parties we've been to.

I would just buy chicken nuggets and cook them, if you're serving this at home. Grilled cheese is another food I've seen at parties that has been a hit.

Bagels and cream cheese is a pretty well liked choice if you're away from home.

Approximately how many in a platter?

nvm. just checked their website and looks like 64 in a small tray $33.50, 120 medium tray $58.

But the nuggets are made in peanut oil, so if any child has allergy it will be a problem.

Plus the whole anti-gay thing.

Sandwich platters are a nice pizza alternative.

We also like a selection of appetizers, like mini quiches, cheese sticks and crackers and fruit and veggie trays with hummus. Cava has some nice appetizers on the catering menu.

OP here. Can you recommend a place that does sandwich platters? And thanks to the PPs for suggestions. We don’t do Chik-fil-a, so welcome any other ideas. I think our options are probably pizza or grocery store platters but hoping to find other options. Cava is a good idea too.

Yeah, I like cava mini falafel sandwiches and their spanikopita. Always a hit for work catered lunches. Wegmans sandwiches are pretty good and they have party platters. A friend also said Harris teeter party platters were good.

You can just buy frozen nuggets and cook them a lot cheaper. We did a mix of subs and pizza. I'd usually make a salad and have a few other things like cut veggies and fruit. Nuggets will be an issue if some kids are vegetarian.

Any suggestions? We're hosting an outdoor party with about 10-15 kids and trying to think of lunch options other than pizza. We don't have a Costco membership. We're in Montgomery County, would also consider NW DC.
