However, it's possible the group ends up as a coed group and there is a match-up. In other words, it happens he ends up with a date. Just doesn't tell you. Till very last minute and he needs a corsage.

Sophomore DS has decided to go stag with a bunch of friends. Should we (his parents) get him a boutonnière for his jacket? Or will that seem ridiculous because it’s not coming from a date?
