I"m not the OP but wondering if the same happened to me this week. He said he loves me on the phone, wants to protect me, I make things exciting etc. Never see him in person though. thoughts on how serious this is?

Which is pretty much curing the crush. Disillusionment is so helpful sometimes but also, sad.
