Subject: Tesla owners- please advice
The third row on the Y folds down. It’s really only useable for little kids.

You can schedule a test drive at the time of your choice online. But the end of the quarter (which is now) is tough as there’s a huge push to sell as many vehicles as possible, including the test drive vehicles. So they may not have anything to test out until early next quarter. Try again next week.

I have a Tesla you and a Tesla 3. No maintenance on Y since Jan and none on 3 over the past 2 years. There is no brake service because of regeneration so even the pads will last a while.
For what you need y is better than 3, but 3 is more fun to drive and for the same battery more range because of aerodynamics. Cargo space on Y vastly better, I can fit a full size bike without disassembly.

Maintenance costs are generally less than other vehicles, at least while you are under manufacturers warranty. It basically is just tire rotations and brake fluid checks.
There are other manufacturing issues that could come up, and Tesla service centers are a PITA to deal with.
Wait right now is long for orders, so test drive ASAP and put that order in it at all interested.

is this a good car for everyday use, going to work, groceries, pick/drop kids, taking them to activities and games/
