I would assume that if one went the Macan route that having some sort of extended warranty would be pretty much required.
How many miles is too many miles to buy used Macan?
My Consumer Reports Guide rates the Macan great for driving/handling, but so-so for reliability. Looks like you'd want to avoid 2016 or older models, which are flagged for engine and trans issues. Are you super settled on these two choices? They both get dreadful gas mileage for a daily driver, and if you're considering the Macan seems like you don't need as much cargo space as the 4runner would give you.
