I used to see profiles that had limits on distance and I can see why. This has so many red flags

OP, there are men all over. I know within 5 minutes of meeting a man if there is chemistry. I'm also picky experienced and attractive. How long is he flying in for? What if you dislike him? What if you like him? Seems like a huge no from every angle.

If not, it’s just like any other date, but I do find it’s weird he’s willing to fly here so quickly. What will you do about the distance if you hit it off?

This. Just meet up somewhere public and take the normal precautions you would, such as doing your Googles and letting a friend know where you are going etc.

Personally, I welcome meeting sooner rather than later. Not interested in endless phone and text chats with someone I may meet F2F and find revolting.

I'd do a deep background check first.

Just don’t take them on a hike in the heat...

I like a bit more texting first personally.

I met someone online last week and just talked for the first time. He wants to see me this weekend and will fly in. Is it too soon? He seems normal but just find it a bit weird to meet so soon. Then again I'm getting older almost 40.
