Just got beta results from my 4th transfer - first semi-medicated one and it was 179. The first three were medicated with an immune protocol and were all negative. I really liked the semi-medicated protocol. I did 5 days of letrozol CD3-7, two monitoring appts and triggered with Pregnyl when my lining hit 7mm (a few medicated cycles left my lining thin). Then I started progesterone suppositories 2 days after trigger. After transfer, I’ve been on the same progesterone. They checked my E2 and P4 two times after transfer and everything was good so I didn’t have to add anything including PIO. In the past, my E2 was too low. This cycle went so well I wish I did it sooner. Now waiting for my 2nd beta and praying it doubles. BTW I am unexplained and 34 (although endo suspected). Hope yours goes well!

Thanks, PP! That’s really helpful. Good luck to you!

I'm doing one now, but it's my first FET ever and I have no idea what the outcome will be yet but will update in 2 weeks haha

I triggered Sept 25.
My transfer is Oct 2.

I took absolutely no meds other than the Ovidril trigger. I will start the Prometrium inserts the day of the trigger.

We only have 2 PGA normal embryos so I'm hoping this one sticks!

I'm part of the NATPRO study and in the unmedicated FET group but I would have gone this route anyway after the horror stories I heard about the FET cycle drugs and learned that the outcomes for medicated and unmedicated groups are the same.

Good luck!!!!

Do you recall how many days after trigger you had your embryo transfer? And how many weeks did they have you taking the progesterone and estrogen?

I've done different ones. Some I just monitored for ovulation and took p and e after transfer; others i triggered and started taking progesterone and estrogen after trigger

All of my successful FETs were NC. Still had regular monitoring appointments and did an HCG trigger but didn’t do any other meds before the transfer. Progesterone and estrogen after the transfer.

I have regular periods and 3 PGS normal embryos remaining. So far I’ve had 3 medicated FET cycles also with PGS normal embryos that have all ended in chemical pregnancies or early miscarriage at around 6 wks. I’m interested in trying a natural cycle FET. Has anyone tried this successfully? If so, can you share your protocol? I’m 34 yo with tubal factor infertility.

Did you trigger with hcg or take OPKs at home to confirm ovulation? Did you supplement with vaginal progesterone?
