Where does your kid go in MD?

It’s a secret

There is Cardinal Fencing Academy in Dulles just north of Chantilly.

Another vote for Fencing Sports Academy in Fairfax - they have one of the top epee fencers in the world and a supportive environment. My daughter loves the coaches.

My son goes to Fairfax Fencers in Chantilly. They've been great and appear to be a bit more cost effective than the other clubs.

Best in the area is PENTA in Mosaic. They have the most nationally ranked fencers in the area and I believe they are second or third in the nation. I was worried about how my recreational fencer would fit in there but I’ve found the coaches to be wonderfully supportive.

There's a place in Fairfax City near the corner of Old Lee and Main St. It's above the Ace Hardware Store I believe. No idea how it is. I remember a friend took his kid there for a while when his son was exploring other sports.

Hopefully, this is Fairfax enough for you.

OP Here, we did the archery/fencing camp at NOVA and my daughter really loved it but it's hike for us. We're in Clifton and I was looking for something in Fairfax.

My kids also at Nova and love it. Friendly club and they are moving to the old Golds Gym next to current location so it’s going to be a great new facility.
Opening early next year I believe

+1. DS spent one week of summer camp at NoVA fencing in Falls Church and loved it (wants to take classes now).

I’ve heard there are a few other good ones in Fairfax county-/ Springfield and Fairfax city

My 8 yo DD is interested in trying fencing. We're still in the sample everything phase as there is no sport she's found she really likes. Anyone have a good fencing academy they can recommend? We'd like something in Fairfax or Chantilly (on the CHS end). TIA
