At CCRM, I had pretty short waiting times for my monitoring appointments. But after I got my BFP, the waiting times got really long! 1.5-2 hours was the worst. I wasn’t as mad as I could have been since I was so happy about being pregnant. I think I started with my OB around 9 or 10 weeks

They didn't make you wait to see the doctor after?


No, most of the time the doctor did the ultrasound, or came in immediately after it was completed. I never had to wait.


Same, never saw a doctor for monitoring, only ultrasound tech. The nursing team would call in the afternoon with instructions. I started during COVID and have never actually met my doctor in person, lol.

No - at Sibley the Dr or NP did the ultrasound and then the nurse called in the afternoon with blood work results. I didn't ever meet with the Dr after separately.

I was chill about everything, including medical, until my first had a low apgar score. It has gone downhill from there. I can definitely relate to anxiety in the waiting room. I'm actually considering skipping out on ultrasounds all together except a 36 week ultrasound to check my c section scar and rule out placenta previa. If I go over dates (again) scheduling a repeat C is looking way more appealing than hospital ultrasounds twice a week during covid.

SGF at Sibley and same here, a few years ago.

Rockville was always longer but not close to 4 hrs for regular appts!

Oh my goodness this sounds rough. I am with SGF on K Street in downtown DC and most appointments I am in and out in 30 minutes max. Normally quicker! This is with two rounds of stims and some OB ultrasounds. They have passed me on to my OB at 9 weeks.

I always took the first morning appointment for monitoring so it would be quick. I have had to wait up to an hour for the regular appointment with the RE sometimes. I was handed off to the OB at 8 weeks.

What is a typical cycle monitoring visit and what was the longest/worst day? What was the longest you waited for an ultrasound and to see your doctor?

At how many weeks did you graduate to OB?

My worst days were over four hours for everything. I just want to know if my clinic is an outlier.
