Also, here is the OSSE info, go to this link
https://osse.dc.gov/page/guidance-and-resources-covid-19-related-closures-and-recovery#health_safety

Then scroll down past the blue squares to where it says Health and safety Guidance, and go to the Childcare Provider section (not K-12).

You'll see several links to the various newest info. Again, we can keep things more stringent if we choose as a private center. (Not sure about Head Start)

OSSE licenses all childcare centers on DC.

Go to this link https://coronavirus.dc.gov/healthguidance

And scroll down to Reopening Guidance (Phase 2)
Then click on the link for Childcsre August 11. This is the link to what we are now following, UNLESS we want to be more strict. Our school is still following the OSSE guidance from June 25. I see no reason to loosen everything up in the face of going from 8 or 10 kids to 20 kids in a classroom (normal for 4s).

Can someone point me in the right direction for the DC Covid protocols for daycares and about vaccine requirements for staff? I’m having a really hard time finding them online of knowing what’s current. Our daycare center gets a lot of head start funding and I wasn’t sure if that affects the rules they have to follow. I’ve seen some lax mask wearing among the adults and my 18-month old is home with his second bout of viral bronchitis. While it’s thankfully not Covid, it makes me wonder how strictly they’re following the Covid precautions in the first place.
