OP here. Thank you for this. As to after-care, our school has an after-care program, but does not have winter/spring camps.

Subject: New to the Area (Bethesda) - Winter Camps for 5yo?
We just moved to the area (Bethesda) and are trying to figure out what type of camps (or other options) are available for our 5 yo during their 2-week winter break. My DH and I both work outside the home, and neither of us has enough available days off to cover the many weeks our DC is out of school, between winter and spring break, Thanksgiving, summer, etc. Winter break seems like the first extended amount of time off, so we're going to try to figure that out first. We'd be grateful for any guidance/suggestions. Thanks in advance.
