It's very French. It's goofy, absurd, surreal. Obsessed with food but they work it in organically

I will finish it tonight. I really wanted to like it, stayed the course to find SOMETHING to like. I laughed a couple of times, but, no. This, in the end, it just was tedious.

I expected this show to be better than what it is and was disappointed. As a 40 something woman I was looking forward to watching a smart show about women my age-this was just silly. Only Elizabeth Shue's character seemed like a real person-the other three were goofy/odd/histrionic (and not in interesting ways). Not the actresses fault-just bad writing.

Love Sarah Jones. Not a spoiler I hope but there are reasons revealed later why Yasmin is that way.

I’ve watched two episodes, too. The premise has promise, but it’s badly written and just dumb. I’ve given up.

They all look pretty good (natural) for upper 40s - mid 50s
But Alexis Landeau has done weird filler thing going on. Almost looks like Glasgow smile.

I’ve watched the first two episodes and I’m into it. I though the dinner party episode was great! The French husband is a douchbag!

The first episode was boring and the characters aren’t compelling. Does it get better?

I'm watching it. I find it weird how childlike the teen children are and how much the parents baby them.

Anyone else watching this on Netflix?
I'm really into it period of course the women are hugely privileged and sort of live in their LA bubble, but I love the French absurdity of it. I watched most of the episodes on mute with subti and was surprised that Alexis Landaeu Had such a Cali Valley accent.

I think we're supposed to think the characters are all terrible people but is it terrible that I related to them?
