Why is his father's money giving and other name associations listed out by the school? You won't find OJ Simpson or Reggie Bush noted in the USC history books. There are other colleges and prep schools which redact name publicity from their walls and publications when social taste and standards demand it. Is Landon tone deaf to this or is their just an institutional loyalty or arrogance involved in the Landon culture to tolerate it? The kid was a great lacrosse player and Landon is a lacrosse crazy school. His dad was a big money donor and there aren't a lot of those at a school with a $50mm endowment. But it isn't like Huguely is in scarce company of Landon kids who made All Met or played D1, and it certainly is not the case that his dad was the only one who stroked a six figure donation check to the school. Why the sacred cow treatment? To the extent the status quo is comfortable for Landon on this one is not a positive I think[/quote]
