It was bound to blow up. I do think Gisele made it pretty clear she was expecting him to retire years ago and his lifestyle during the season was tough on the family. There are rumors he didn’t like to have sex anywhere near a game so that could have added a strain as well and I imagine that is tough during the whole season. Who knows if there is anything he could have done but going back to the game after announcing his retirement seemed like a an F U to his family.
So she wanted to get married and have him retire and quit his job? That doesn't work these days, remember a "man is not a plan"? Why should have stop working for her? She knew what she was getting in to.
No she didn’t. When they started dating he told her his career would not last beyond late thirties because it’s not typical for an NFL QB. Then as the years went on he kept figuring out ways to extend his career and she lost patience. She was perfectly supportive at first,
Yea it’s my understanding she was extremely supportive of his career through most of the marriage. Tom retired at an unusually late age -a good 5-10 years after most quarterbacks retire. He documents this in the documentary Tom versus Time which is all about how unusual it is for him to be playing that long. It apparently caused a lot of strain in the marriage.
And this is why a beta personal trainer is a good fit for her. It’s all about her.
What? I mean, marriages take compromise. In what way did he compromise?
Yes, this. She was always the one making sacrifices, never him. He couldn't even keep his commitment to retire at the agreed-upon time, when he was well past his prime and had already played much longer than expected. It must have been a pretty lonely marriage, normal for two people to grow apart after a long time with this dynamic. I think they want different things out of life, too. She wants to do eco-traveling, spend lots of time with her extended family, and sustain connections with Brazilian culture. Not surprised her current BF is Brazilian. Those things matter more as you age. He's not interested in any of this, wants to hang out in his huge mansion, date models, and watch football. Nothing in common beyond the kids.
He signed a $375M contract with Fox. Sounds like he has plans beyond making connections with "Brazilian culture" whatever that means. Her boyfriend will milk her for all she's worth then move on to the next mark.
Your Gisele hate-on is a little bizarre. She's smart enough to protect her assets and will continue being very very rich. I'm sure that will annoy you.
DP. If anything history has shown that Tom is more likely to get milked for all he’s worth. His relationship with that tb12 scammer lead to the end of his patriots career and he was the one that lost a bunch of money with crypto.
She was all about FTX too. Wow, you are an idiot. She literally was sharing a stage with Sam Bankman-Fried talking about how great crypto was. She lost money and was listed as a defendant on the lawsuit too. And Alex Guerrero had nothing to do with why a 45 year old retired from the NFL. Try being less stupid, you might find it freeing.
Loud and wrong. Alex absolutely did because Brady and Belichick relationship deteriorated due to him banning Guerrero from patriot facilities: https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/bill-belichick-has-reportedly-banned-bradys-trainer-from-the-patriots-plane-sideline/amp/ And Guerrero has publicly criticized Bill. Also your argument that Tom isn’t a gullible dunce is that Giselle is too? As if two idiots couldn’t have found each other much like you and Brady found each other?
That’s exactly my argument, idiot. Oh and how pure of you to consider that billions of dollars lost was only to “gullible dunces”. Unlike yoiu, I presume. You’re just a regular dunce. The Brady Belichick relationship was about a lot more than Alex Guerrero. You’re such a Patriots genius I assume you must know Guerrero was introduced to Brady through linebacker Willie McGinest, a core Patriot from the beginning of Brady’s career. Belichick never had any problems with Guerrero then. The biggest issue was too much success and too many egos. Not just associating with Alex Guerrero. IDIOT. Now why don’t you go back to looking up articles you so can act like you know something about a team I’ve followed my whole life?
1. Seek help. You seem incredibly worked up about someone who doesn’t know you exist. 2. Alex Guerrero didn’t have an office at the patriot facilities by virtue of his relationship with Willie McGinest. One of the issues that lead to Bill having a problem was that because Tom Brady had a lot of influence with the team younger players would also feel pressure to work with Guerrero as well. It’s not some gotcha to say that Brady met him through someone else. That’s actually how most people meet…
+1
