I'm the OP of the United question. I went online as the pp suggested. I will not be able to receive a refund but they will give me credit for the full amount i paid for a future flight. Better than nothing![/quote]

Is there a time limit for using those credits? What I’m seeing on United.com sounds like you have to travel within one year of when you bought your tickets?:

FLIGHT CHANGES:

New tickets must be reissued on/before December 31, 2020 or 12 months from original ticket date, whichever is earlier
Rebooked travel must commence within 12 months from the original ticket issue date

Good question! Strangely enough I have not yet received a confirmation email of my cancellation so I can't share the details yet. Hopefully it comes soon. I wonder if the credit will be useless even a year from now given how the virus is spreading...[/quote]
