I'm so glad you acknowledge that the "values" of democracy and human rights are in the back of the line way behind "foreign policy".  Please remember that any time the U.S. criticizes a country, ANY country, for its lack of devotion to democracy and human rights.  The appropriate response to this type of criticism would be "So?"
