Indeed. It's the reason she lost the Presidency. It's also the reason she rose to prominence in the first place, since despite great talent and intelligence, no woman of her time could climb up the political ranks easily without being married to a prominent politician.

I may be wrong, but I don't think PP is condoning anything of that nature. The political forum is rotten because people like you tend to categorize people in two camps and attack everyone they think is on the side opposite to theirs. There are lots of us who just don't want to rah-rah support any particular politician. They've all made ethical compromises to be where they are. The discussion should center around the degree to which they've done so. Take Massie, for instance. He's the one, not too long ago, who posted a Christmas pic with all his kids holding firearms, days after that school shooting in Michigan which left 4 students dead. And yet he's taking the lead on exposing perps in the Epstein files.

Politicians are complex humans - they're beholden to certain interest groups and not others, and willing to go out on limbs for certain values while sweeping other values under the rug. Our job is not to have favorite politicians. It's to be as wide awake as we can and follow the money. It always explains people's actions...

I’m PP and this is exactly what I’m saying. I am so tired of being attacked.

This page of the thread has a post regarding Epstein and George Mitchell, a man I admired as helping forge the Good Friday accord. Virginia Giuffre and possibly other women identified him as someone who they were forced to sleep with by Epstein.

I hate Trump but I have a growing deep hatred for the kind of posters who repeatedly accuse me of being MAGA because I REFUSE, as someone who has voted for both Clintons multiple times (her as Senator), to exonerate them or George Mitchell over their ties to this predation. [/quote]
