I certainly understand that there is a limit to the amount of testing that is useful, and I'm perfectly willing to believe that in many cases, we have exceeded that limit. What I do not understand is the connection between the number of standards and the amount of testing. 16 standards, therefore 16 test questions; 32 standards, therefore 32 test questions? If so, that's bad test design.[/quote]
