We all love firefighters, but I hope you’re not trying to make it seem like this is some amazing gift from Texas. It’s normal procedure and how all large wildland fires are fought. No jurisdiction could afford to maintain the enormous number of people and equipment required. Firefighters come from all over the US and Canada. They come from the military and from private companies. 30% of those fighting the fires are inmates who are paid a few dollars a day.[/quote]
