Given how amateur that entire sub is they probably picked up some car batteries at the Walmart to power that thing. And it seems like corners were cut to save money everywhere so I’d bet they went for the cheapest ones.

I’m having a hard time understanding how anyone with a conscience could work for that company.  So many questions about the design from people like me who know very little about anything but just seem to be common sense.  You’d have hoped that more people would have been like the safety engineer who was fired and started asking hard questions.[/quote]
