Which interviews are you talking about? The one where she thought it was so cool that Peng Shuai's attended her event with an IOC official after being forced to recant and apologize to her rapist? The one where she said her critics were just uneducated losers that would never experience winning a gold medal, so too bad for them? [/quote]

She's like most American -- an opportunist.  I don't see her any different than the guys playing on the Chinese hockey teams.  Her messages are lame but she really had to come up with something to placate the public.  I don't think it's great that anyone should be playing for another country in the Olympics unless they truly feel a connection to it.  That said, the point is, I don't find it offensive that she plays for another country.  I don't even think she renounced her US citizenship as it seems like the ice hockey players were able to make similar agreements.  [/quote]
