Do you know where Hardy teams play and practice now? Takoma[b] Recreation Center[/b]. Banneker [b]Recreation Center[/b]. Randolph [b]Recreation Center[/b].  Do you know what all of those [i]Recreation Centers[/i] have in common? They're all run by DPR. There's no question whether DCPS kids can use DPR rec centers, the question is whether kids at Hardy can use the one that happens to be across the street from their school instead of having to take Metro to ones halfway across the city.

I'd like to find out what the deal is with Guy Mason Rec Center, which is just a few blocks up Wisconsin from Jelleff.

Do you know that this is a big city?  Many people live far from Hardy *and* far from Takoma.

Takoma is probably more convenient for Maret kids than Hardy kids, as many of the Maret kids live in-boundary for Deal or, worse, live in Maryland. [/quote]

Why do write with such disdain for the Hardy kids?  It really seems to bother you that Hardy kids, like Maret kids, play sports and don’t care for endless commutes.  [/quote]
