He's happy with the shutdown because he really cannot imagine himself in the place of someone struggling to pay rent and grocery bills. Nor does he care about Americans who would like to see our national treasures, whether natural ones in parks or man-made ones in museums. Nor does he care about those treatures beyond wondering how much they are worth dollarwise.

It's a fact. No one can make a convincing case otherwise. The man has no empathy gene.[/quote]
