I don't unfollow content creators or influencers or whatever we call them now for posting views that clash with mine unless it gets excessive or takes over their feed and eclipses their normal content that was interesting to me in the first place. Those announcing their departure make my eyes roll as hard as those who announced their departure because Jen purchased a -gasp - Chick fil A sandwich several months ago.

She's been at this long enough to know you can't please everyone and there's some benefit to the engagement that those posts bring that her "Buy my cute jean jacket" don't bring. The exodus of followers probably concerns her but I get the impression that JH and "her team" don't really know what they want to be anymore and are just trying to figure out what the people who have stuck around this long do want.

Deconstructing, divorced, Christian mommy bloggers just aren't the thing anymore. There's not much that makes her stand out. [/quote]
