The idiocy part of it is Trump attacking EVs, renewable energy, fuel efficiency standards, keeping us dependent on oil, including a lot of foreign oil.

WE NEED TO GET OFF OF OIL AS A FUEL.  Period.   Use it for lubricants and other things but it's stupid for us to be as dependent as we are on critical infrastructure.  This even affects people who don't have cars because so much of our goods are shipped around the country via long haul diesel trucks instead of electric trains and other means.   We should have made the pivot decades ago but instead we have been systematically lied to with literal billions poured into disinfo undermining renewables from the fossil fuel industry.[/quote]
I guess Iran said that if Israel/USA are going to frack up their infrastructure and oil economy with the support of Arab countries, some of them will feel some similar pain. Interesting how hard they are going after the UAE, first the hotel, the port and now oil tanker. I found this political comic is interesting for how some in the region are feeling.

How is the futures stock market looking? They were bragging about the dow breaking 50,000 except that already receded due to a crappy PPI inflation report Friday plus was already lower after Trump doubled down on tariffs after the SC decision.
