So everyone paid $3000 for the season and for this team for spring they aren't playing league fees, using field space for games or practices, or paying for referees for any games, or for more than one tournament, and the coach isn't coaching......where did the money go? That's fraudulent.
That’s the valor way. Scamming parents out of money for the last 3 years. Sad I am not surprised by this. We have league games but our coach is bottom of the barrel and of course you never find this out until you pay. (by the way before people comment that’s what you get on a lower team. This is a gold team coach.) My advice for parents is when you are at games, you start being more aware of the coaches your kids are playing against. See how they interact with their players. See how they interact with their parent and refs. Go over there and make a connection. if it is a club you can make work travel wise to go and attend practice. Put yourself out there to make connections with other clubs and get to know the coach. The club Overall doesn’t matter as much if the coach is fantastic. Unfortunately the fantastic coaches that Valor has are all leaving or in our case Coach younger teams.

Agree, we are already working that angle. We even have a few tentative offers set in place before tryouts and have a more substantiated clear understanding of my kid's performance peer group of what that ought to be. Curious if Valors offer would even come close to that validated expectation. I doubt that. I can't wait until tryouts to see what's what. I've done my homework. -If you haven't done so already, other parents on here should do the same. You don't owe anything to any club. The only commitment you have is to ensure your kid is a high-level player, practices extra hours, puts in the work and improves. I've learned no club will dramatically improve your kids' performance. Be your own devil's advocate. Does he/she belongs on travel? If you make that wrong assessment, a club takes your money, and your kids sits on the bench the whole season or gets less minutes...should you be upset? If the player is improving on the field, during practice and the coach/club doesn't respond to that, then time to find a new home. -If your kids got potential, go get him/her looked at by other clubs to understand his/her level of play. Then you will understand where they sit in terms of their peers. In summary, I would not wait for Valor or any single club to be the end all be all determination. You always get 3-4 quotes/estimate when contracting anything out to ensure if that message is relatively the same. This should be no different.
