High ranking on USNWR rankings doesn't have much to do with academic standing, selectivity etc. The new metrics are more about research dollars (so size matters), Pell grant recipients (this is where FL shines--their bright futures program admits a lot of low-income kids and funds them).[/quote] 23% acceptance rate, though.
