[/quote] Nobody wants to acknowledge how military academy admissions work. They were set up as a patronage system, with Senators and House Members making nominations. Also, of course, military academies have requirements beyond academics, so a student’s fit can’t be determined from just SAT scores and tutor-written essays. [/quote]
